SILVEROADS STUDIO
Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy explains how Silveroads handles customer information to operate this store. For privacy enquiries, email support@silveroads.com.
Information we use
When you place an order or create an account, the store uses your contact details, billing information, account details, purchased products, payment status and download records. When you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you include. Technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and security logs, may be used to operate and protect the website.
Why information is used
We use information to process purchases, provide download access, send order information, answer support enquiries, handle refunds and disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal record-keeping obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, these purposes rely on performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Consent is used where required for optional activities.
Payments through Stripe
Stripe is the selected payment provider for this store. When Stripe payments are enabled and you use them, Stripe processes payment and transaction information, including relevant contact, billing, device and fraud-prevention information. Silveroads receives information needed to manage the order, such as payment status and transaction references. Do not send full card numbers, security codes or passwords to our support team.
Stripe also processes information for its own legal, security and fraud-prevention purposes. Read Stripe’s privacy policy for its practices and your choices. Any optional payment service shown at checkout may have additional provider terms.
Hosting, store software and email
The store runs WordPress and WooCommerce on Hostinger hosting. Hostinger also provides the support@silveroads.com mailbox. Hosting and email services process the information necessary to operate the website and handle correspondence. Providers may also process technical logs for security and service operation.
Cookies and optional tools
Necessary cookies and session data support sign-in, shopping baskets and checkout. Payment-provider technology may be used for payment functionality and fraud prevention when enabled. Optional advertising and analytics tools require an appropriate privacy and consent setup before use. You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies can prevent store features from working.
Retention
Unpaid pending and failed orders are scheduled to move to the store’s trash after 30 days, and unpaid cancelled orders after 90 days. Removal from active records is not immediate deletion from every backup. Paid order, payment and refund records are retained where needed for accounting, tax, refunds, disputes and legal obligations. Account and download records are also kept where needed to provide continuing access to purchased files; we do not automatically remove that access just because an account is inactive.
Support and security information is retained according to the need to resolve enquiries, prevent misuse and meet applicable obligations. You can ask us to review or delete your information. We assess what remains necessary and explain any records we must retain; a deletion request does not always permit deletion of records subject to legal obligations or an unresolved dispute.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact support@silveroads.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also raise a concern with the data-protection authority applicable to you.
International processing
Hostinger and Stripe may process information outside your country, including in the United States and countries where their service providers operate. Their published processing terms describe the safeguards that apply to covered transfers, including standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions where applicable. See Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum and Stripe’s Data Processing Agreement and its linked Data Transfers Addendum. These provider safeguards do not remove our own responsibilities for handling your information. Contact support@silveroads.com for information about a transfer affecting your data or to request information about applicable safeguards.
Updates
We may update this policy when the store, providers or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
